Another Limited Palette painting, this time I chose to utilize Alizarin Crimson and Viridian to make a limited palette painting, due to the dominant colors of the composition that I was painting. I think this was very successful, as it was an early on painting and one of my first times painting a dog. This piece is a 9x12 painting painted in Oil Paints.
Beanie has not been showcased anywhere as of yet. He will be donated to my family soon, as a painting to be hung in our home. I am planning to create a painting for each of our current dogs, including a new one for Beanie, as he recently developed pigment loss in his face, creating dramatic white speckling which is really striking.
