A series of simultaneity, Parrots III is a representative piece of the abstraction, simultaneity, and overlayed forms. The first three Parrots pieces are 9"x12" on watercolor paper. Each Parrots composition is made by drawing multiple parrots and overlaying them until a composition is found. Parrots III is the third, featuring a complete removal of the branches, and the additon of more abstracted forms and symbols, such as arrows and circles. I think it's the weakest of the three, since there is not much simultaneous movement, or differences in position on the page.
The Parrots series is currently going to be published in UNCW's Palaver in 2020.
