Restraint is a tiny aquatint print, about 3"x4", and is one of the smallest prints I've made. Restraint deals with the story of Adam and Eve, and is a sized down print of a larger scale drawing and painting.
Aquatint is a type of printmaking technique where you utilize acid and small flecks of spray paint in order to create a sense of gradation and watercolor or ink like effects within printmaking. For me, it is by far one of the most difficult processes I've experience, with Mezzotint being the most frustrating, and Lithography being the slowest. Restraint has not been showcased anywhere.
