One of the first paintings I would consider "Good" from the class. After painting Alex *horribly* the first time she was our sitter, as you can see to the right. I was determined to paint her properly, and attempted to do as best as I could in my more preferred medium at the time, Acrylic. This was also a limited palette painting, in which I was only allowed to utilize Ultramarine and Burnt Umber, along with White.
She is one of my favorite acrylic paintings, and she and Caroline ended up being huge motivators for my painting, as in my first few experiences with both, I could not paint them at all. It took the entirety of the semester to get decent results painting them. As such, my successful paintings of Caroline and Alex are my favorites.
