I've added the following pieces, Mirror Image, and High Chroma, to the Digital page. These are my two least favorite of the Digital Figures set, but I make it a point to showcase most of the work I make, if I think there's any inherent value to it in others, then I will share it for those people.
Anyhow you can see them above, and you can also see them on my Digital Works page

This is a small post to introduce The Four Elements, Air, Water, Fire, and Earth. These I've added and begun posting onto various Social Media as we speak. All of these projects were designed with the intention of being a set. They feature statues or bust in all four, and are meant to invoke the element they represent as a catalyst or container for its symbols. Each one is a digital collage done via Illustrator, and each are carefully curated symbols, colors, and designs, with the goal to invoke the element in the hair or bodies of the busts. I really enjoy Illustrator but I do not currently own the programs, so I cannot make more art in this style of digital work, nor can I make the Figures I have up on my Digital section either. I am hoping to be able to afford Creative Cloud with the revenue from my Etsy, which will allow me to expand into Digital as well. The goal behind Air was to create a sense of floating and movement via the light nature of air. I used butterflies, paisley, airy greens, and clouds to show her lightweight and carefree nature. I also made her bust a carefully curated greenish copper mold in order to further evoke the color. I then found some windswept hair and layered it with various bird's wings to create the effect of Air
Water was created with the sensation of waves crashing as the focus. Utilizing an homage to the Little Mermaid, I used an elongated Statue or a woman and placed mist, slick rocks, and an oceanscape behind her, then I utilized a wave of water to create the long arcing hair behind her body. The colors were kept to greys, blues and blacks in order to maintain the effect of Water The Element of Fire was one of the more difficult ones, but came together the fastest. Her coal, dark skin made for the perfect idea of what I was going for, the smoldering, undying nature of Fire. I used vibrant purples and pinks to show the heat and livelihood of the smoke. Her body features a vibrant yellow and red to further reinstate this, with an active volcano beneath her as her base. In some ways, this one also sort of represents growing fury. Earth was created via a side profile statue, I felt this made her seem more stoic. I then crafted hair accents from The Wave in Arizona, and blend her into the tops of mountains. I decided she needed something a bit more heavenly and 'weighty' to her, so I had smaller stones orbit around her neck, to create this monumental size to her form. All of this is accentuated by a limited color pallete of light oranges, browns, and greys. If you like what you see, please check me out and give me a Like or Follow on Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, or Facebook! I've just placed the order for the supplies I need for my show coming up at the end of February, I'm super excited about it. My business cards recently came in! They're a basic template, but I've designed them so that I can watercolor each to be a unique, individualized business card! I'll show these on Social Media soon~!
On the way is my lockbox, tables, and a few print racks to make storage and showcasing a bit easier! I'm super stoked. I've also been adding a bit to the site. I've added some older Silverpoint drawings to the Drawing Section from 2015, and I've also added some recent Digital Work, the Four Elements, to the Digital Section! I still plan on filling out the Painting and Printmaking areas a bit more! I'm almost done with both Anchor and Dandelion, I also have a few special surprises in place to release, and I'm working on Community Comments and Dark Horoscopes as we speak! I'm also finalizing and testing a print for the Four Elements series, which I'm excited to release soon on my Etsy! This month, I plan to finish another set of Nautical and Floral Design Series pieces! I'm also planning on creating Sticker versions of all of the Dark Horoscopes. Lots more to come guys! It's time for a weekly update! This week, I've been adjusting to the dorm life, and then coming back down to visit family!
That being said I still got a lot of stuff done! I've scanned a large portion of drawings I've been making almost daily! These small drawings I scan and use to create the digital prints that you see in the shop! So expect more of both the Floral Design Series, Nautical Design Series, and maybe even a Limited Print! I also promoted the Charlotte Reflect Show a bit more! I've had a good amount of luck so far with that. I'm looking forward to seeing all who can come out and support it! I ordered business cards! Excited to see how these turn out. I bought some basic cards and I plan on staining them all individually to make exciting and unique cards! I will be handing these out at the aforementioned event! Last but not least, I've started a Community Comments thread on Facebook! You can check it out here I take symbols, animals, objects, shapes, and ideas given to me by each person in the comments, and I create a small scale drawing based on it! Here are some of the results of the last Community Comments thread! Next week I hope to bring previews of the next Dark Horoscopes drawing and a print preview! See you then! Super excited to announce the Charlotte Reflect show I'll be partaking in, which you can purchase tickets at here they are 22.50, but you get access to 60+ Artists, a Concert, a Fashion Show and much more! Come out and show some support! You can purchase tickets in support of an artist!
