The Charlotte Reflect Show will be this Wednesday, in just two days! I'm finalizing the final stages of setting everything up for this event and I'm super excited to see how it goes! I hope everybody can come out and I'll make a post about it shortly after the experience!
I'm happy to announce in the 10 days since I posted an update, I've managed to confirm two different showcases, one with Legion Brewing in Plaza Midwood of Charlotte, where I'll be exhibiting two of the Dark Days pieces! It'll be up for the month of March and a few days in April! I'm also going to be showcasing in Leon's Salon on Tate Street in Greensboro, where I will be exhibiting four of my abstract hair drawings! It'll come up on March 2nd, and ends sometime in May or June!! Work will be available for sale at these events! I've ALSO entered my last year of the CPCC Student Show, I'm super excited about the pieces I've submitted and I'm really hopeful to make it in this year as my final year! That's two, possibly three showcases to show you guys! I'll make individual posts of each, as they come up and setting up the work and showing the work to you guys, ALONG with a post about the Charlotte Reflect event soon! Hey guys, its been a really hectic week!
So, last Friday, I found out that tickets are available only until February 20th! After which you can ONLY purchase them at the door for $30... I had planned to go through and personally notify everybody, but my computer fried as I got back in Charlotte! I've spent the last week figuring out and coordinating getting my laptop repaired, finding out it can't be repaired, scrambling to recover the files on it, and hitting every obstacle in the book! I will have my files recovered by the end of this week, and I just got a new computer. I'm both excited about the new things and my wallet is crying quite a bit. Anyhow, I've got good news! I'm pleased as punch to announce that I've found a few potential showcases that I will be mentioning in the not so distant future, there are four or five that may or may not be happening at the end of this month, and if they work out, it'll be a really great experience. These will give me opportunities to showcase art in both the Charlotte AND Greensboro area, much earlier than I previously anticipated. Here's hoping my stroke of bad luck is followed by good luck... I'm hoping to showcase a few more Prints oriented shows, but I also hope to showcase some ceramics, portraiture, and drawing! What does that mean for you guys? Expect to see more work! More posts! More products! New products! New ideas! A Reminder that the Charlotte Reflect show with RAW Artists will be happening this month, on the 27th at the Fillmore from 7PM to 11PM Tickets are $22.50 if you purchase them online! You can purchase them here. After February 20th they will no longer be available, and they will cost $30.00 at the door! Any support is heavily appreciated guys! I'd really love to see all sorts of friends and family come out and show support! If you'd like to buy a ticket in support of me as an artist, but can't go to the event, you can purchase one and message me with the order confirmation and an address and I will send you a small goodie bag of stickers and prints to thank you for your support! All supporters will receive a Free Sticker and 20% off their online or in person order! Just mention you purchased a ticket and I'll check you off on the list! Happy Lunar New Year! Its been a great start to the year and I'm super excited about this February! My Monthly Feature is going to be a little later than usual, but considering there's only been one before, it's not too odd. Here are the Chinese Zodiac stickers I created for today! They will be available on Etsy and at the show on the 27th! I'm super excited about these, and I plan to refine them as the years go on. First I need to clean them a little bit though! They've been added under the Artimis Studio Tab! When they are on Etsy, I will link them as well! I'm looking forward to the year and I hope everyone else has a wonderful time this year as well! |
