I am currently in the process of revamping various aspects of the website and my Etsy. I am hoping to have these done and fully implemented by the end of March, so the website will be a little wonky for the next few weeks, with new content and major changes happening throughout.
I am hoping to create a more central Announcement Page on the Home Page which will conveniently detail recent Shows, upcoming Markets, and important updates currently happening. This is more useful for people viewing the home page, which will immediately give them relevant information. I realized, as a viewer, that the website's homepage is simple and shows art immediately, but it doesn't really show what's happening, or where to find the art, so I'm making changes to that. I will be reviving the blog here, and focusing on making it a more interesting feature of the website, rather than just a place where I mention updates (like this one!). I'm not sure what I'll be doing, but I'm hoping to get a semi regular schedule of posts going, I am thinking this will likely be Fridays or Saturdays. These will include write ups on pieces, inspirations, works in progress, school projects, and other things for people to be able to check out. I will also include my experiences in the professional realm of art such as museums and nonprofits. I'll try to create resources for other artists to utilize as well. This means I will be revamping the categories and simplifying them. I have plans to start hyperlinking and creating individual pages for different pieces of art, and I plan to create a Press page, where I will have active links to information about markets, shows, and stuff about installation and such. I also want to make these pages more well rounded, with writing samples, installation and work in progress pictures on top of the original piece, linking to inspirations and blog posts relating to the piece. I have a lot of work ahead of me, on top of this, I am creating various professional documents, including an art database, and professional letterhead. Many of what I've begun to work on has been motivated by my recent acquisition of the book Art/Work which has been eye opening for how to professionally represent myself as an artist.

I've begun drawing Daily Drawings again, and I've added the first week below. In order, they are: Contrails, Mermaid, Cumulus Child, Lady Death, Spring, Sea, and Air This has been a really fun experience, daily drawings allow me to create and explore multiple ideas very quickly, and I've created a lot of stuff I'm satisfied with this weak, particularly the Cloud Woman and the beginnings of the Land Air and Sea triptych. I'll continue to update with new posts each week, these will be available under my Drawing Page I've added in the first separate section of work, Portraiture!
Portraits are linked here now where you'll be able to find a continually growing collection of my portraiture related works! Go check it out in order to see a few paintings I haven't posted on Instagram or Facebook as of yet! Per usual, those who read my blog get special treatment for being on my site ;P I have a market coming up this Sunday, April 14th, along with the new Easter Sale which will run until the end of the month! I'm excited to release a brand new print for this sale! (Seraphim not included). Expect to see that new print on the 14th! I have expanded the site to include a Printmaking Section you can find here. I will continue to expand the site as I go, I've included my first year of Printmaking for now and I will expand it to include more recent works as well.
I'm excited to say that my account for my etsy has been confirmed as well, so that should be up as soon as I receive my account number! Hello there and welcome to my site! Occasionally I'll post blog posts about certain artworks, series, or processes to talk about them! I will also post if any of my artwork is available to see anywhere I'd like to share my thoughts on some works, and eventally, post processes and previews and sneak peaks here occasionally! Anyhow, enjoy the site, if you have any criticisms or suggestions to improve the site, I'd be happy to hear from you via my Contact form!
If you're interested in purchasing an Original, or even a Print, please don't hesitate to contact me! For now, a few of my Drypoint Prints and the three paintings on this site are available for sale at the Ross Gallery in CPCC, where they are being exhibited for the Holiday Art Market, along with faculty, alumni, and other students of CPCC. They will be available for a few more days, until December 17th, I believe |
